Aileen Katcher, APR, Fellow PRSA, will take part in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Neighborhood Networks 2008 Regional Technical Assistance Workshop at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel on Friday, April 25. The workshop will host members of Neighborhood Networks from across the Southeast who are responsible for promoting technology centers in their area. These Neighborhood Networks centers across the country provide adults with the skills they need to compete in today’s job market, help youth achieve greater academic success and teach seniors how to use technology to connect with their family and friends.
During this session, attendees will learn about the various distribution outlets that can be used to promote their center and how to work with the media to increase awareness of their center with the greater community.

Previously a senior account executive at KVBPR, Henry joined the firm in 1998. She has spent the last nine years developing her skills for clients in the professional services, real estate, technology and manufacturing industries. As an account supervisor, Henry is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of integrated communication plans, managing client accounts and day-to-day account staff leadership.
A member of the Nashville chapter of the American Marketing Association, Henry holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia in Athens and a master’s in business administration from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.

As an account executive, Hall’s responsibilities include media relations, program implementation and managing day-to-day communications for client accounts. Before joining KVBPR, she served as the manager of communications for the national nonprofit KaBOOM! Hall holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
Fogle performs and coordinates clerical and administrative activities for the staff members of KVBPR. Previously, she worked at the Nashville City Club and served as the office coordinator for Access III of the Lower Cape Fear, Inc. in Wilmington, N.C., a nonprofit that assists Carolina Access Medicaid patients.

Horton has served as an associate account executive since joining KVBPR in 2005. At KVBPR, he has worked with clients in the health care, real estate and engineering industries.
As an account executive, Horton is responsible for graphic design projects, business development, media relations and managing day-to-day communications with client accounts. Horton manages the firm’s internal marketing. Before joining KVBPR, he was the communications and membership director for the Tennessee Wildlife Federation (TWF).
Horton holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Tennessee and serves on the Young Professionals Committee for the Nashville Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

Prior to joining KVBPR, Stein served as a public relations specialist and district marketing manager of events for Borders Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 company, where her responsibilities were not limited to event planning and community and media relations for its field and corporate marketing, real estate, and merchandising departments.
Stein holds a bachelor’s degree in English and English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Feb. 6, 2007 - Katcher Vaughn & Bailey Public Relations, Inc. (KVBPR) has promoted Heather Schablik to senior account executive and hired Mary Katherine Martin as an associate account executive.
Schablik, previously an account executive, joined KVBPR in 2000 as an intern. She has spent the last seven years developing her skills for clients in the financial services, insurance and hospitality industries. As senior account executive, Schablik is responsible for supervising account staff, assisting with plan development and managing client accounts.
A past winner of the Mercury Award, presented to an outstanding young professional by the Nashville Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Schablik serves as co-chair of the program committee for the organization.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations from the University of Georgia in Athens.
Before joining KVBPR, Martin served as director of corporate communications for Davidson, Golden & Lundy in Brentwood. While at Davidson, Golden & Lundy, Martin was responsible for managing the firm’s Web site, marketing, coordinating speaking engagements and special events, while also assisting with numerous communications projects.
Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
